BioThomas Dowler was born in Derby in 1979, and grew up (mainly) in the North-West of England.
He read for a BA in English Literature at the University of York and an MA in Feature Film Development at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
He's written numerous screenplays, co-written a television sitcom, Dr Callahan Robson and the Stone of the Damned and has, for the past eighteen months, been writing novels.
At various times in his life he has been a bin man, guitarist in a gangsta-rap band, pipe smoker, insurance salesman and employee of Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.
He currently lives in North London with his fiancée and their cat.
